Kentucky Un-Fried Chicken Strips
Ingredients
- 4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into strips
- 1/2 cup no fat sour cream
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp powdered garlic
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups panko bread crumbs
- 1 tsp ground oregano
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp ground sage
- 1 tsp marjoram
- 2 Tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp onion salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Directions
- Mix the sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic in a medium bowl
- Cut chicken into strips, and mix into sour cream mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.
- Mix remaining herbs and spices with the panko breadcrumbs
- Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Roll the individual chicken pieces in the herb and spice mix bread crumbs. Place each chicken strip onto the parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake in a pre-heated 400 oven for 45 minutes turning once.
