Ingredients
- 4 cups salad greens of your choice
- 4-5 fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cucumber, peeled and chopped
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped with seeds and juice
- 1 ripe avocado, cubed
- 1/4 tsp each sea salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Place the salad greens and basil onto a large cutting board and and chop them once horizontally and once on the diagnol
- Place the chopped cucumber, celery, green pepper, and green onions over top of the greens and continue to chop, again once horizontally and once on the diagnol
- Place the chopped salad into a large bowl, add the tomatoes, avocado, salt, pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice and toss
