Filet o' Fish Sandwiches

An updated twist on a fast food classic!
Ingredients
Directions
  1. Set up an assembly line with the Old Bay seasoning mixed into the flour, the beaten egg, and the Panko combined with the lemon salt.
  2. Dredge the fish in the flour, dip into the egg and cover with the bread crumbs. Cover and let set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. When ready to cook, heat the oil in large deep skillet over medium high heat and fry in the hot oil for app 5 minutes, turning continuously for even cooking.

For the Tartar Sauce
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped dill pickle
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Mix the above together a few hours in advance and spread generously on the hamburger buns. Place the fish onto tghe buns and top with a fresh tomato slice and crispy romaine lettuce.
