Ingredients
- 1 can sodium reduced tuna, drained
- 1 chopped green onion
- 1 stalk celery, diced
- 1/4 cup finely diced hot pickled banana peppers
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup low fat mayonnaise
- 1 cup drained pineapple tidbits
- 1 cup finely shredded extra old low fat cheddar
- 4 slices high quality multi grain bread
- Mix the first seven ingredients together in a large bowl
- Lightly toast the bread
- Spread tuna mixture in equal amounts over all four slices and top with equal amounts of the cheese.
- Place on a baking sheet and broil app 2-3 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly
