Ingredients
- 1/2 cup paprika
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 2 Tbsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup black pepper
- 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp oregano
- 2 tbsp thyme
- 1/3 cup kosher salt
- 1/4 cup garlic powder
- Mix all together in a large bowl and then store in a sealer jar. This recipe will make 8 racks of ribs.
- Sprinkle ribs lightly with the rub and massage it in. Cover and refrigerate at least 3-4 hours before baking to allow it to fully enhance the meat.
- Bake on a cookie sheet sprayed lightly with cooking spray bone sides down for 2-3 hours at 250.
- Remove from oven, brush lightly with BBQ sauce of your choice and put on the grill at 400 for about 5 minutes a side. Absolutely delicious!
