Slow Roasted Barbecued Ribs

Poolboy's Rib Rub 

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup paprika
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp oregano
  • 2 tbsp thyme 
  • 1/3 cup kosher salt 
  • 1/4 cup garlic powder 
 Directions
  1. Mix all together in a large bowl and then store in a sealer jar. This recipe will make 8 racks of ribs. 
  2. Sprinkle ribs lightly with the rub and massage it in. Cover and refrigerate at least 3-4 hours before baking to allow it to fully enhance the meat. 
  3. Bake on a cookie sheet sprayed lightly with cooking spray bone sides down for 2-3 hours at 250. 
  4. Remove from oven, brush lightly with BBQ sauce of your choice and put on the grill at 400 for about 5 minutes a side. Absolutely delicious!
