Tex Mex Stuffed Steaks
Ingredients
- 4-6 sandwich steaks pounded thin
- 1 cup frozen or canned corn
- 1/2 cup softened cream cheese
- 1/4 cup salsa verde
- 1/2 cup Kraft Tex Mex blend shredded cheese
- 1/2 red pepper diced
- 2 Tbsp creole spice or Emerill's Creole Seasoning
Directions
- Sprinkle steaks on one side with creole seasoning
- Mix the corn, cream cheese, salsa, red pepper, and cheese to make a soft filling
- Add filling and spread over steak
- Roll steak and affix with toothpicks
- Sprinkle with more seasoning
- Broil in top half oven for 3-5 minutes a side depending on desired doneness.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Cut in half to serve.
